Student Style Inspo with DV8

Heeey everyone, Happy Halloween!
Can you believe Autumn is nearly over? Where is 2016 going??!
Sorry it has been so long since I wrote a blog post, but between beginning college and travelling to Africa to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, I have just been so swamped!

But anyway, I'm back with a fashion collaboration.
For this collab, I wanted to bring you some "Student Style Inspo"
Obviously for the past 6/7 weeks I've been living in Cork and I've been passing other students on campus/on the street every single day. So naturally enough I have been watching what people are wearing. Amongst the girls anyway, literally anything goes, from a laid-back tracksuit to a more dressed up skirt and boots.

A big trend I've noticed on campus and loved is Stylish Sportswear. So basically a Sports Brand that would traditionally only be worn in the gym or for sports, but now is cool enough to wear on a daily basis.

Everything from Adidas to Nike, to Ellesse to Puma.. the list goes on.

For this post I have collaborated with to bring a whole outfit of Ellesse and Converse.
The reason why I love this outfit is because each product can be worn separately, which gives you your money's worth, and you are bound to get tonnes of wear out of each of them.

These White Leather Converse are perfect for any student who's running from College to the gym or even going for a few drinks. They're super comfy, stylish and much easier to clean than normal fabric Converse..

I just adore these Ellesse leggings. I am seeing printed sports leggings everywhere. I love how perfect and comfortable they are for college, or even going to the gym. Even better, if you are going to the gym straight after college, there's no changing to be done and your style is on point!! You can guarantee people will look at these as you walk by (Or jog by!). Love love love!
Ellesse Leggings - Buy Here

What would go better with Ellesse than Ellesse?? So I got the matching Ringer Tee and I have to say I'm obsessed. It can totally be dressed up or down. I love it here with the Ellesse leggings and a Vintage Oversized Levi jacket, but it would be totally fab with an A-line buttoned skirt, tights & boots for a Winter dressy caj look!

Just to show a different look with the Ellesse leggings and Converse, I threw on an oversized/slouchy jumper (a fave of mine at the moment). This one is from Penneys/Primark, and at €9 it was such a steal. I bought it about 6 sizes too big for me, to have that baggy/overized look.

So that's the Student Style Inspo.. Let me know what you thought about this post.
Do you want more student style ideas etc? I would love some feedback.

Until next time,
C x

Athlone Fashion Trail

Hi everyone, how is it October already? Where has 2016 gone!!
There was no better way to begin the month than attending the Athlone Fashion Trail. As some of you will remember I attended the Galway Fashion Trail earlier on in the year and absolutely loved it so I knew I would really enjoy this one too. It was organised by the lovely Saibh and Sinéad from Into The West Blogger Network.

Just like at the Galway Fashion Trail, we were treated to an exclusive Blogger Breakfast at Colm Quinn BMW to kick-start the day and to meet & chat with everyone.
There was a stunning spread put on for us and we were treated like royalty yet again.
Being chauffeur driven into the town in their amaaaazing cars was the perfect start to the day!

 Kadee Bride

Our first showcase of the day was in Kadee Bride. The interior of the shop was so visually pleasing and gave me some serious interior envy!

These healthy snacks were to die for!!!

Just a small variety of the stunning bridal gowns available at Kadee Bride.

We literally never say no to a selfie.

I love hanging out with my ITWBN buds!

Burgess in Athlone is a fab department store which caters for both men and women. The fashion is quite mature for me, but they also pulled out some really stunning pieces. My fave looks are this pastel pink coat and the fabulous suit (below).

Olivia Danielle

Our fashion trail then led us onto Olivia Danielle. I was super excited to see what they had to show as I've followed them on Instagram for months and absolutely love their diverse/trendy stock!

Loooove this contrast bomber!

I'm so obsessed with blush pinks and rose pink tones lately. This was my favourite Olivia Danielle outfit! So well styled and I love the dressy/laidback feel!!

 Athlone Town Centre

Our next stop was to check out the fashion shows in Athlone Town Centre!
Adore this stunning H&M dress. So classy!

Neeeeeed need need. Can't deal with the fab embellishment.

This was my own simple/casual outfit for the day

We had the loveliest lunch with a great view thanks to The Fatted Calf.

Nell's Closet

This shop in particular was a complete stand-out for me. They had the most beautiful occasion wear. I know where I'll be headed the next time I need a "Wow" dress.

Some absolutely showstopping pieces that you will definitely stand out in.
They were my fave looks and stores from the day at The Athlone Fashion Trail.
I'm so happy that I attended. ITWBN events are never a fail. We always enjoy ourselves so much!
Athlone I will be back!

Thank you so much to Saibh and Sinéad of ITWBN.
Thank you to our various sponsors.
Thank you to the girls from Galway Now magazine for their trojan work.
Thank you to the Fatted Calf and Radisson Blu hotel for filling us up and keeping our energy levels up.

What a day...
